about me

Susanna CelsoI was born and grew up in upstate New York and attended Bible college in Toronto, ON. Six years later, I moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire while waiting for my Canadian permanent residence application. After two years in NH I moved back to Toronto, where I'm part of Newlife church, work two days a week at a yarn store, and spend the rest of the time freelancing, building websites and pursuing various hobbies.

I'm a Christian, a photographer, a knitter, writer, avid reader, thinker, researcher, dreamer. I love vintage clothes, cats, horseback riding, exploring, adventures, and making things. Often I blog about the things that I make, usually recipes, knitting, or natural health/beauty items.

Why the site name? "Plousia" is a Koine (biblical) Greek adjective meaning "rich". A friend applied it to me once when we were playing a game where we had to come up with one word describing each person, and it's become my online identity, useful because it's never taken :)
